About the speaker:
Since 2012 prof. Recalde is full professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and co-director of the “Expert in Corporate Governance and M&A Operations”. He has carried out teaching and research programs in universities and research institutes in Germany, UK, Italy and several Latin American countries.
Prof. Recalde’s research focuses mainly on company law, securities law and financial markets. But he has also relevant contributions in transport law and international business contracts. He has on several occasions assisted the “General Codification Commission”, an advisory body under the Spanish Ministry of Justice responsible for the technical preparation of legislation. He is Co-editor of the Revista de Derecho de Sociedades, member of the managing board of the European Company and Financial Law Review, and member of the editorial board of the Revista de Derecho Mercantil, and other academic reviews. He is member of European Company Law Experts (ECLE).
