Evento di didattica innovativa del progetto Erasmus+ BEYOND
Nei giorni 15 e 16 maggio 2025, presso l’Aula Magna Storica del Palazzo La Sapienza di Pisa (Via Curtatone e Montanara 15), si terrà l’evento di didattica innovativa “Sustainability Business and Legal Game”.
L’evento è organizzato nell’ambito del progetto Erasmus+ BEYOND (Boosting and Enhancing Youngs’ Next Generation Awareness for ESG Values Development), co-finanziato dalla Commissione Europea, con responsabile il Prof. Luca Spataro del Dipartimento di Economia e Management dell’Università di Pisa.
The Sustainability Business and Legal Game
The Sustainability Business and Legal Game is a cross-disciplinary, internationalteaching activity developed within the framework of the Erasmus+ project BEYOND, involving Italian and German university students in economics andlaw.
It promotes an integrated understanding of EU sustainable economic law andreal-world collaboration.
Key Features
- Cross-national and cross-disciplinary approach
- Italian and German students from economics and law work together in mixed teams
- Foundation through flipped classrooms held in April–May 2025 at theUniversity of Pisa (with remote participation from Germany)
Phase 1 – Business strategy development
Economics students simulate improvements to a company’s performancethrough business decisions
Phase 2 – Legal consulting challenge
- Law students, in thematic Italo-German teams, provide targeted legal adviceto the business teams.
- Each legal team specializes in one EU legal domain
- Focus on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and ESG alignment
Preparation for future simulation game
- No algorithmic evaluation at this stage
- Current activity serves as a design and testing phase
- Legal insights will help shape the future integration of legal variables into theevaluation software
Final Objective
To build an advanced simulation tool that measures not only economicperformance, but also legal compliance and sustainability impact, offeringstudents a holistic view of EU business strategy.
